Hey everyone! Happy happy Thursday! It’s been a crazy awesome week and we’re getting excited about lots of amazing things happening at the brewery. John’s been brewing and kegging like crazy, and we’re SO excited to have a cold room full of Trek beer. We’re building quite the stockpile for the grand opening and beyond, and we’re just overwhelmed with gratitude that we’ve finally made it!

Now that we’ve finally got some beer coming off the big system, we’re able to start planning some awesome events!

Starting Wednesday night, we’ll be doing Trivia with Spoo! Steve Spoo has been doing trivia at Moe’s in Granville on Tuesday nights for awhile now, and he’s mastered the art of hosting. We’re so excited to bring him on board for Wednesday nights with us! Come think while you drink, bring some friends, and test your skill at trivia. We’ll play every Wednesday from 7pm-9pm.

We’re also getting really pumped about our GRAND OPENING on November 23rd, Black Friday. We’ll open our doors at 3pm and have a ribbon cutting at 3:30pm.  Trek Brewing Company will donate $1 from every pint sold to benefit the following organizations: Kiwanis Club of Newark, Habitat for Humanity: The House That Beer Built, The Licking County Family YMCA Healthy Kids Network, The Licking County Humane Society, and Mental Health America of Licking County. We’re excited to be giving back to our community from our very first official day. Please help us spread the word and make it an amazing day for the community!

Santa is coming to Trek on December 2nd! Come join us for a free picture with Santa, and an afternoon of fun. We’ll have Christmas movies on in the taproom, and Santa will be all set up in our events room. We can’t wait to see you for this family friendly event!

The rest of this week is going to be amazing as well! Tonight we’ve got the Panthers vs Steelers on the big screens, and we’ve got our new IN HOUSE pizza menu in effect. We’ve got an amazing collection of artisan pizzas from Fired Up Pizza in Columbus. On Friday Day Y Noche will be outside with some amazing Mexican food… and there’s nothing better than beer and tacos. On Saturday, Hogg Head’s BBQ will be hanging out with us for the Ohio State vs Michigan State football game. Come eat some delicious BBQ and watch the Buckeyes on the big screens.

You guys, it’s all starting to get really exciting now. We can’t wait for the rest of this adventure. Come join the journey. It’s worth the Trek.
