Trek Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Newark, Ohio.

Trek strives to be the “third space” in your life. You’ve got home, you’ve got work, and now… you’ve got Trek, the ultimate community gathering place. Community is integral to the mission of Trek Brewing Company. Not only are we bringing people together, we are actively supporting the local service organizations that make our community a better place to live.

We’ve secured an amazing building to be the home of Trek Brewing Company. In our comfortable, family-friendly taproom, you’ll find something for everyone. Whether you are here to the watch the game, or play a game among friends we’ve got you covered. In addition to our taproom, we’ve got a large banquet room so you can plan on Trek for your special event.

We also have a full menu in house with some of the best food around. We've got small bites, burgers, salads, chicken sandwiches, and even kids' meals, so there's food for everyone!

But, let’s be honest, none of it really matters without the beer. We brew all styles of beer, and keep a fresh rotation of new brews available. There will always be something interesting to try when you come visit. All our beer is brewed just steps from the taps, and that is as fresh as it gets.

Meet the Team

John Ream

Brewery Operations and Owner

John manages the brewhouse and business operations. An award winning homebrewer for over eight years, John leverages his engineering background to improve the quality of his beer and the efficiency of the brewing process. Outside of Trek, John enjoys hiking, camping, playing games, and making spreadsheets.

Kristin Ream

Marketing Director and Owner

Kristin manages the social media marketing and community outreach for Trek Brewing Company. Kristin is also the head taste tester for Trek, and works in the taproom, pouring pints and hanging out. When she's not at Trek, Kristin is the COO of the Ream family, where she is vastly outnumbered by two toddler boys and a golden retriever. In her spare time, Kristin loves to be outside, camp, hike, swim, read, take pictures and visit excellent breweries.
