It’s Thursday somehow again and we’ve been anxiously awaiting today. TONIGHT is another Trek Together night!!! (btw, we’re doing these every single Thursday now.) Trek Together is our way of giving back to the community that surrounds us. You come in to Trek between 5pm and 9pm, and we’ll donate $1 from every pint of beer we sell back into the community through our Trek Together Community Fund. It’s pretty awesome. Tonight is even MORE awesome though, because tonight isn’t just any Trek Together, it’s Trek Together for the Humane Society.

The Licking County Humane Society “seeks to improve the lives of animals and people through advocacy, education, and support.” This incredible organization helps people and animals connect through several awesome programs. The LCHS has a Foster Care program where you can open your home to an animal for one to six weeks until they are ready for adoption. There’s also a pet food pantry for those that need assistance in feeding their pet. LCHS does low cost spay and neuter services for cats and dogs, as well as low cost vaccinations. In addition, the Licking County Humane Society offers obedience classes for puppies and dogs. LCHS has also partnered with the Licking County Aging Program to bring pet food to seniors who may have a difficult time providing for their pets.

When you come to Trek tonight, you’re supporting a community powerhouse. This important organization does so much for people and pets in our community, and Trek is proud to partner with them. $1 from every pint sold tonight from 5 to 9 goes directly back to the Humane Society. Someone from LCHS will be hanging out in the lobby to answer any questions you might have about LCHS, and also give you opportunities to get involved in their incredible organization.

If all of this isn’t enough awesome for you, B-Dogz hotdogs will also be with us tonight, and she’s donating all tips back to LCHS. She’s got the best hotdogs around, so you won’t want to miss them.

Our taproom is open today from 3 till 10 pm. It’s Opening Day! We’ll have the Reds and Indians on in the afternoon.
