Hey guys! Happy Happy Thursday! Though we’re just now getting a little bit of a break in the heat, it’s suddenly almost October. Before we know it, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here. As we inch closer to the holiday season we wanted to spend a quick moment highlighting our special events room.

One of the things that drew us to the property at 1486 Granville Rd was the fact that it had an amazing room that we could designate as a room for special events. There aren’t a whole lot of venues in our corner of the world that can host a private party for 100 guests, and this mid-sized event room was an awesome addition for us.

Parties in the event space require a minimum of a 2 hour rental. We currently charge $50 per hour for the room.

One of the other amazing things about this space is that you are welcome to bring in any outside caterer that you’d like for your party. If you need suggestions on this, we’re happy to help. Many of our food trucks are also willing to provide food for your party, we just let them know in advance how many to plan for.

No outside beverages are permitted. For parties we have the option to add lemonade, iced tea, coffee station, and bottled water. If you have other special requests surrounding beverages, talk to John or myself, and we’ll do our best to find a reasonable accommodation.

You are allowed and encouraged to decorate the space any way you’d like. We ask that in your decorating you do not use glitter of any kind, confetti, or stick anything on the walls.

Finally, we can run a tab at the bar for your party, or you can have a cash bar. If you’re running a tab, we give tickets to the host to distribute to their guests. Guests exchange the tickets for drinks at the bar. Party hosts let us know if guests have restrictions on their tickets such as pop or beer only, or if they can be redeemed for anything behind the bar.

Our event room is rented out several times a month. We’ve hosted everything from birthday parties, graduations, wedding receptions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, to class reunions and corporate parties. We’ve got an incredible spot and we’d love to share it with you!
