Open Inside, Outside, and for Carryout!
Ok guys, I’ve REALLY been slacking on the whole blog post thing. It turns out that even when the world isn’t busy– we really still are. Our little corner of the world hasn’t stopped, at all. Admittedly, it is a little slower, and if I’m honest, I really love that we’ve been able to recoup some precious family time. It has been wonderful to actually be home together several evenings and even some weekend afternoons. (Thanks to our amazing staff!)
I wanted to take a moment and just fill you in on what is the “new normal” for Trek right now. I hesitated to write this any sooner because things were just changing so rapidly. However, it looks as though we’re going to stay in this holding pattern for at least a little while.
We are now officially OPEN for inside, outside, and carry-out options for your food and beer. The wonderful thing about Trek’s large footprint is that we have a TON of space to appropriately socially distance groups. Inside the brewery, you’ll notice that we no longer have seating at the bar. We did this to make sure that there would be enough space for you to come up to the bar and order, and be able to maintain the necessary 6 feet of space between the next group. We’re using every other booth in the bar area for seating. These booths seat groups of 4.
On the taproom side, we’ve tried to be as accommodating as possible to many different group sizes. We have tables for up to 10, and as little as 2. Please don’t move these tables in the taproom– they are placed exactly where we need them to meet all guidelines.
On the patio, we have six tables that can seat up to 8 people. We again ask that you please not move those tables.
We are continuing our rigorous cleaning. Please wait until a staff member has cleaned the table before you sit.
As much as we really don’t want to be the “fun police,” that is a part of our job now. We’re asking that you please respect the rules laid out by the state. No mixing of groups, no standing, and maintain 6 feet of space between groups.
We’re trying to get back to somewhat of a weekly schedule. Thursdays will continue to be Trek Together nights. For the foreseeable future, we’ll be donating $1 from every pint sold on Thursdays between 5pm and 8pm to the Licking County Foundation’s COVID 19 Relief fund.
Because we’re lucky enough to have such a big space, we’re also going to attempt to schedule some live music events. Please be prepared to come early to these so that you get a table. As awesome as these musicians are, you’re unfortunately not able to get up and dance. We strongly suggest that you work on your chair dancing skills. Next Friday, June 5th, Acoustic Poppycock comes back for their second appearance at Trek. These guys were AMAZING when they were there before. You don’t want to miss this show. For music performances, we’ll be extending our taproom hours. Please note the time on our events!
It is SO GOOD to see your faces back at Trek. Once again, John and I can’t begin to express to you all how much we appreciate you. Thanks for sticking with us. This Trek gets better every day.
Cheers friends!
