First Anniversary Party!!!

Hey guys! Happy Thursday!!! Geesh it’s been an exciting month… so much going on, and I feel like we’re speeding up. John and I have a meeting every Monday and the recent focus has been discussing our first anniversary party!

Full disclosure, it’s been a little more than a year since we’ve opened. Since we had the LONGEST soft open in the world, it’s hard to start from that time. We’re counting from our official grand open, last Black Friday. We plan to have a Black Friday party every year because honestly, it’s a great day to come out and celebrate! If you’ve been shopping since 3am, you’re going to need a beer. If you’ve been hanging out with family, you also may need a beer. So, henceforth, Trek Brewing Company will officially count Black Friday as our “birthday”.

This year we’ve got some awesome things lined up.

Just like last year, we’ll be giving back to the community. It’s a BIG part of who we are. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it forever… Trek was started to build and support our community. This year, we’re partnering with the Food Pantry Network of Licking County. We’ll be donating $1 from every pint sold during the ENTIRE party (3pm to 10pm) back to the food pantry. In conjunction with our Football Food Drive this year, we’re hoping to really make a difference for an organization that does SO MUCH good in our community. The Food Pantry Network of Licking County served over 1,300,000 meals to over 300,000 individuals in 2018. Approximately 35% of the recipients are children and infants who have no control over their situation. We want to do what we can to help out our neighbors.

We’ve booked some live music for that night. Scooby Doo has become a somewhat regular at Trek. He’s a great local artist that sings everything from Johnny Cash to Tom Petty to Wonderwall. Scooby is adding great ambience to the brewery and we’re excited to have him join us for our anniversary.

Star City Sliders will be slinging the worlds best sliders all evening. Bryon not only makes fantastic burgers, he’s an awesome human too. He’s adding to his menu all the time, so make sure to ask him what’s new.

We’re planning some surprises for this big day as well, so make sure to RSVP on Facebook to get updates as we get closer!

We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!!!

Cheers friends! It’s #WorthTheTrek
