Weekend happenings!
Hey everyone!
Just a short and sweet post today. It’s my birthday week, the first week of new classes at the preschool, a holiday, and well, I’m just running a tad bit behind schedule (Anyone else think starting the week on Tuesday is HARD?). The rest of this week is full of awesomeness though, and I want to let you know the details.
Tonight, please join me at our Trek Together for Hospice. It’s my birthday and I want to spend it with you! You’re also helping me keep a 17 year promise to give back to an organization that changed my life, and we’re toasting my dad. You can read the whole story in last week’s post.
Friday is Day y Noche night, which is ALWAYS a good night. I think it’s hard to find a better combination than Mexican food and beer. Bring some friends, hang out on the patio or grab some board games in the taproom. It’s an awesome way to kick off the weekend.
Saturday we’ve got the Football Food Drive at Trek while we watch the Buckeyes and the Bearcats. We’re inviting you to be a fan and bring a can! You bring a canned food item, we donate it to the Licking County Food Pantry Network, AND we give you $1 off your pint during the Buckeyes game. It’s an easy way to be an awesome human. You get to watch the Buckeyes on the big screens (sound on!), and you get to help your neighbors in Licking County.
Finally, Sunday is your FIRST CHANCE to join the official Newark-Heath Browns Backers group to watch the start of what is sure to be an EPIC Browns’ season. Big screens, sound on. Star City Sliders is our truck for Saturday AND Sunday.
Come and join our journey guys. We can’t wait to see you from across the bar. It’s worth the Trek.
