Trek’s New Years Resolutions

Hey there friends! It’s that time of year where we take a serious look at our actions and we re-evaluate what is important to us. We make resolutions to do things better for the coming year. Now that we’re small business owners, John and I feel it’s important to make resolutions for Trek as well. We’ll be focusing on four major things for this new year.

First of all, we’re re-committing to supporting our community through our Trek Together program. We’ve scheduled two for the month of January and we hope to see many of you there. Trek Together allows local non-profit organizations to set up in our lobby and talk about their organization. Trek Brewing Company commits to donating $1 from EVERY PINT sold during 5pm-9pm to the community partner. This month we’re working with Newark Pride and The Food Pantry Network of Licking County. If you are connected to an organization that would benefit from this, please fill out our contact form here. We’re hoping to grow this program into a weekly event.

Secondly, we’re resolving to keep putting out great quality brews. We’re loving having the majority of our tap list showcase beers made in house, and we’re planning to keep it that way. We are also committing to brewing across styles. If there’s a style you love, that we don’t do, reach out! We’d love to hear your thoughts. John has some exciting ideas for new brews coming up, and he can’t wait to do more fun brews off the 1BBL pilot system.

Third, we’re expanding the places that you can find Trek beer. Start looking for us in restaurants and bars, because we’re headed outside the brewery! Don’t see Trek on tap at your favorite place? Ask them to put us on tap! We’re excited that we finally have enough in production to start limited distribution. If you find us “out in the wild” we’d love it if you share that on social media!

Lastly, we’re promising to keep making our taproom your Third Place. We’re loving that we’ve got groups gathering for book clubs and HOA meetings and after work meetings and bible studies. We’ve had groups in for birthday parties and gender reveal parties and family gatherings. Trek’s taproom is starting to be exactly what we envisioned it, a place that you can come and relax. A place you feel equally good about hanging out with your friends and your kids. We want to keep this good juju going this year, so please, tell everyone you know. Come hang out with us and enjoy some really amazing people along with your really great beer.

I don’t know about you guys, but 2019 is looking like a really awesome adventure. Come on in, grab some pints and let’s start it together. We’ll see you soon.

Cheers!
