Join us for pints, Tortilla food truck, kids activities and more fun all in an effort to raise money for Pediatric Cancer Research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Our son Ward Porch was diagnosed with a Wilm’s Tumor, a pediatric renal cancer, at 18 months old. He faced major surgery to remove the tumor and his right kidney and 6 months of chemotherapy. This June, we will celebrate 1 year of Ward being cancer free!

Our family values and supports research efforts.  Research could lead to safer treatments with less harsh and lasting side effects and higher cure rates.  Did you know that less than 4% of the federal budget allocated for cancer research goes to pediatric cancer research? And yet, pediatric cancer is the number one leading cause of death by disease for children under 15 years old! Our kids are worth #morethan4. We have been amazed by the support we have received over the last year from the people we have named “Ward’s Pride.”  We want to channel our energy and story to help fill the funding gap by raising money for cancer research at our neighborhood hospital with the brilliant doctors and researchers we know and love.

100% of your ticket purchase for this event will go to further pediatric cancer research.  And $1 from every pint sold and 10% of Tortilla Food Truck sales will go towards our fundraising goal too. And of course, round up and increase your ticket price by adding an additional donation.
